Web Design

Once you know what content you will be putting on the web, you can start creating site documents. The average website is comprised of .html (extension) files. However, as time passes, more and more web sites are beginning to use server compliant languages such as PHP, or ASP. These languages allow more interactivity to occur on a Website. From simple things such as Login Scripts to complex User Database Management featured in sites such as Facebook or Myspace, active languages are indeed growing in popularity.

To start creating your own .html, .php, or whatever type of file you may wish to you must first acquire a Web Design Program. However, if you did not know, most computers are already equipped with programs allowing Web Page creation. For example, Microsoft Word can be used for saving Web Pages. Also, even the simple text editing program, notepad, can be used to create a site. Although your computer already comes with programs that could be used for web design there are better programs out there that are specifically for creating a webpage.

The program used to create SiteNoob.com is called Dreamweaver, and is produced by Adobe (Dreamweaver was formerly produced mby Macromedia). Dreamweaver is great for a Newbie Webmaster because it does all the programming, and creates the site for you. However, Dreamweaver, as well as the rest of the programs on the Adobe line up are very expensive.

Anyway, whatever program you choose, add your content and toy around with the design of your site. Though like a book, a site is not to be judged by its cover, it is on many occasions. Content is the most important part of a website, buta suave design will add user interest, no one likes looking at an Unattractive Website.

If you do not wish to create your own Website Design you can download Web Page Templates at various sites around the Web. The only problem with downloading Web Templates is that other sites may have the same design as yours, in other words, your site will not be unique. Also, though there are free Web Templates, many of the better looking ones Cost a good deal of money. Either way you wish to go, if your looking for a Web Page Template Click Here.

As you play around with you Web Page Editing, or design program, you will likely figure out the basics of Web Site Creation including links and other necessities. However, if you have not, cannot, or do not wish to figure out the basics off Web Site Creation by yourself, I would suggest using http://www.w3schools.com/ , it is a very informative site with many tutorials on how to create a website.

Anyways, after a while of creating and saving pages you may feel ready, and want to upload your files on to the World Wide Web, where it is available for everyone with Web Access to view.
